Hire a babysitter for a few hours and make sure your kids understand that this will be a regular thing. Your children will respect you for making time to serve in the House of God.

Protect your temple time. Treat it as something sacred. Sister Dalebout said, “While the planning can become complicated, the blessings [we] receive for (our) efforts to get to the temple far outweigh the sacrifice.”
