Some dresses are quietly pretty. And some dresses make you stop for a second and think…well, this is lovely.
That is Vineyard.
Our new White Elegance dress began with a life-size paper pattern and a lot of hopeful sketching. We drew flowers, vines, and leaves by hand, front and back, trying to get the placement just right. There was erasing. There was adjusting. There was probably a level of obsession normally reserved for wedding seating charts and trying to make everyone happy with one dessert table. But it was worth it. Vineyard became our vision of the Garden of Eden, brought to life in one breathtaking LDS temple dress.
The embroidery is the star here, and rightly so. We were blessed to find a factory that could translate our freehand design into a combination of hand and machine embroidery, giving Vineyard that artisanal, heirloom feel brides are always hoping to find. If you are shopping for LDS temple dresses for brides, modest wedding dresses, or elegant LDS wedding dresses, this is the kind of dress that feels genuinely memorable.
The base is a silky mesh, while the embroidery and lining are equally silky cotton, so it feels as lovely as it looks. The V-neck temple dress silhouette, natural waist bodice, and simple sleeves let the embroidery do the talking. And honestly, it has plenty to say. The waist, cuffs, and neckline are trimmed in 3-dimensional floral lace, and the hem finishes in a soft embroidered scallop. Also, because we believe beauty and practicality should be allowed to be friends, it has two pockets.
At $174.99, Vineyard is for women looking for White Elegance dresses, LDS temple gowns, temple dresses, modest wedding dresses, and LDS wedding dresses that feel extraordinary, feminine, and truly special for a first temple experience, a sealing, or a wedding day.
If you are a bride looking for an LDS temple gown with artisanal embroidery, soft cotton, and unforgettable detail, Vineyard might just be the dress.
